NORTH HAMPSHIRE CAMRA PUB OF THE YEAR 2008

The Plough, Little London

The North Hampshire CAMRA Pub of the Year 2008 has been named as The Plough Inn at Little London, just north of Basingstoke, Hampshire.

The local CAMRA Pub of the Year presentation to the Plough Inn at Little London was held last night, 8 July, and what a good evening it was. The pub was full as Terry Brown, landlord here for 18 years, was presented with his award and is now a winner for two years running. It is so friendly here; and while bar billiards was played in one corner, a group of local musicians strummed away in another. Beers were Vale Pale IPA, Branscombe Branoc, Ringwood Best and Boondoggle.
